At Hollow Oaks Corn Maze, we believe it is vitally important that children have exposure to the role that agriculture plays in our everyday lives. It is our goal to educate through a fun and interactive experience! We invite you to bring your students to come get lost in our outdoor classroom!
When can we schedule a field trip?

Field trips can be scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

Dates will begin October 1, 2024.

Reservations are required, but not guaranteed until we confirm the date with you.

Reserve your date as early as possible as we will only host one school per day.

How much does it cost?

Registered field trip admission is $10.00 per person (students/chaperones)

Teachers, classroom paraprofessionals and bus drivers are free with school ID.

EMAIL CONFIRMATION WILL BE SENT. A trip guide will be attached with details regarding entrance & safety requirements, emergency protocols, rain-out and cancellation policies. This email may go to your junk/spam so check those folders also.

Payment will need to be made on day of field trip upon arrival. Cash, school check or credit cards are accepted. Please provide your school bookkeeper’s contact information so that we can email an invoice, if needed. Personal checks are not accepted.

Entire group must be paid for in one transaction.

Since field trip times are not during our regular business hours, we will be closed to any other guests other than those who are paid as part of the field trip.
General Information

We have an area available for picnic lunches during field trips. Lunch is not provided.

Online registration must be submitted no less than 48 hours prior to day of requested visit.

We suggest one chaperone per 4-6 students.

Classes should come prepared for an OUTDOOR farm experience by dressing appropriately for the weather and bringing a water bottle. Any students with allergies to an outdoor environment (grass, hay, straw, bees) should be noted and appropriate precautions taken.

A “Bus Driver” is an organization's transportation employee (must have ID), who is responsible for the driving of a 10+ passenger organization vehicle specifically for field trip purposes. While very much appreciated, parent carpools do not constitute "bus drivers".
